Collecting memories and stories to tell
Twenty-six years. That’s how long I’ve been a part of this place we call earth. In my time so far, I’ve lived on properties surrounded by animals, farming and nature as well as in towns and cities with neighbours either side of me. I’ve travelled countless kilometres to compete at rodeos with my horses. I’ve fallen in love. I’ve experienced highs and some lows as well. I’ve been blessed with a loving and supportive family. I’ve graduated from university and experienced life working the nine to five. I’ve always been an epic dreamer. I love road trips and seeing a new place for the first time. I love sunsets and ocean swims. Slow mornings and hot chocolate in bed. I have questions about life and the purpose of it all. Earlier this year, I left my job. Jack and I gave up the stability we had become accustomed to and decided to throw caution to the wind. Forever in search of freedom, and now with no real place to call home, I’ve put my faith in the power of the universe and embarked on a new journey. Emmalene Exploring is a collection of thoughts, ideas and stories from my travels as well as a curated series of the things I’ve learned along the way.
